It is directly connected with the A-line metro terminus (bus 20): A-line is the subway that connects all the major monuments in Rome, including the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums.

A shuttle will be organized in the morning and in the evening for an even smoother connection between the A-subway terminus “Anagnina” and the location of the ICEIV 2024 Conference, hosted at the Department of Enterprise Engineering “Mario Lucertini”.

The campus is located in the quiet and spacious area of the south-eastern boundary of Rome, far from the crowds of the touristic locations.

Touristic Recommendations (WIP)

  • Rome has two International Airports: Fiumicino (the largest one) and Ciampino. Fiumicino is connected to the center through the “Leonardo Express” Train, that will take You at Termini Station in 20 minutes. Termini Station is the hub for Rome subways: Line A subway will take You to the terminus “Anagnina”, the closest stop to Tor Vergata University. Ciampino is closer to Tor Vergata, You can reach the University through a cab.

  • At the end of August the weather is expected to be hot (>30°C), with some possibilities of summer raining.

  • In the area of Tor Vergata University, you can find several hotels and B&B (visit booking), but you can also lodge in the very center and reach the University through the A-subway: from Roma Termini, it usually takes 40 minutes to reach Anagnina terminus.
